Happy Ween!!!
This week we took a little break from our normal guts and gore and dabbled in a little bit of spooky history.
Starting with where the actual holiday originated from, we have Samhain: a Celtic-pagan tradition celebrating the fall harvest and beginning of the new year.
Going on with everyones favorite decoration we have the origin of the Jack-O-Lantern. Stingy Jack, another Irish legend, started the trend after he was doomed for eternity by carving a vegetable you might not expect.
Finally, we have everyone’s favorite flying on broomsticks: witches. But they might have started flying a lot differently than we had previously thought.

As always, stay creepy and we’ll see you next time!
